Linker was impressed with the work the players put in during the off season. “The fitness testing results were great”, Linker added.
With so many new players, Linker expects there will be a transition period for them. “Coach Dave Matsos did a great job instilling structure to the team in terms of defensive play and transition to offense”, Linker said.
Teams who will contend this year include defending Sutherland Cup champion Listowel as well as St. Mary’s and Lasalle. “London always puts together a good team as well”, Linker added.
Overall Linker said “The team is excited to get going. There will be growing pains, but fans will see lots of progression.”
